David P. Russell

David Russell is an established corporate leader with 40+ years of experience in domestic and international contract drilling and oilfield services. Starting as a roustabout at Rowan Drilling Company, he advanced to President, gaining immense industry knowledge.

At Rowan, he managed global drilling operations and led the re-deployment of their fleet from the Gulf of Mexico to international locations, making them Saudi Aramco’s largest offshore rig provider. Over the years, he also held executive roles at Subsea Infrastructure Partners, Bastion Technologies, Prime Drilling Company and Central Offshore Drilling.

Currently, he is the CEO and President of Loadmaster Industries, where he uses his decades of technical expertise and strategic vision to drive the company’s growth.

Russell completed the Columbia University Senior Executive Program and attended the University of Texas and Murchison Drilling School. He currently serves on the Energy Education Foundation Executive Committee and has held numerous positions on the IADC Board.
